Main duties of the job
You should be confident to work independently as a Clinical Psychologist under supervision of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, within a multidisciplinary team including Psychiatry, OT, Nursing, and Teachers. You will supervise, train, and oversee others to enhance psychologically informed practices within the home.

Cambian Meeko House is a 12-bedded children's residential home for 12-18-year-olds with ongoing mental health needs and challenging behaviors. An on-site school, Home Tree School, supports the educational needs of the young people.
Job responsibilities
Are you an ambitious clinical psychologist seeking new challenges, career development, and a competitive salary?
The role involves providing psychological interventions using evidence-based practices, supervising assistant psychologists and graduates, conducting assessments (including risk assessments), formulating care plans, and delivering psychological support. You will train support staff, evaluate treatment outcomes, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. Maintaining accurate records, engaging in supervision, and contributing to service development are also essential.
The post is part-time (max 32 hours), flexible, weekdays only. You will work within a wider MDT and have access to a Consultant Psychologist at our sister site in Newmarket.
Candidate Profile
Requirements include postgraduate doctoral qualification in clinical or counselling psychology, HCPC registration, knowledge of child and adult safeguarding, clinical outcomes monitoring, risk assessment, strong communication and IT skills, and experience managing complex caseloads. Knowledge of Autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, trauma, and supporting looked-after children is preferred.
