Join Our Team as a Unit Manager!
Are you passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service? We’re looking for an experienced Unit Manager to oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells. This is a full-time role, contracted to 35 hours per week, and we can’t wait to see how you can make a difference!
As a Unit Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our unit and service counters run smoothly, delivering truly incredible experiences for our customers. Please note: This role is contracted to 45 weeks per year.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Supervise teams to ensure we deliver impeccable food and customer service.
* Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit operations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
* Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
* Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
* Identify opportunities for new service concepts to drive sales.
* Liaise between customers and our internal teams to exceed expectations.
* Support and train our teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone excels in their role.
* Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
Our Ideal Unit Manager Will
* Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
* Have a minimum of two years of management experience in a similar sector or industry.
* Possess experience managing teams in a similar role.
* Demonstrate brilliant financial acumen.
* Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Be an ambitious and motivated individual, always looking to upskill.
