Nursery Cook role at RAFAKidz Nursery, Walters Ash, High Wycombe HP14 4XB. 25 hours per week, 9am – 2pm, Monday to Friday. Salary £12.26 - £12.73 depending on Food Safety Qualification.

Role responsibilities
As our Cook, you will have lots of stamina, patience, creativity and imagination with an abundance of great ideas to enhance mealtimes. The key responsibilities of the role include the planning, preparation and serving of age-appropriate, nutritious and well-balanced meals and snacks catering for the children’s individual dietary requirements and food allergies. You will be responsible for the ordering, control, storage and rotation of kitchen stock and ensuring that you and Kitchen Assistants ensure hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with Environmental Health requirements and legislation.
Qualifications and requirements
* Minimum NVQ Level 2 in food hygiene is an essential requirement
* Excellent knowledge of current legislation in Environmental Health and Food Standards Agency
* A satisfactory, enhanced DBS check on appointment and every three years thereafter
