Job Title: Admissions Assistant and Events Support

Job Description:
The Admissions Department is responsible for managing, developing and improving the admissions process to recruit new pupils to join the College each year. This role will provide support to the Events Manager and other members of the team. It will be an exciting opportunity to work as a key member of the team, and with prospective families. The members of the Admissions Team pride themselves on developing warm relationships with families, and as a member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the many Admissions events for prospective families, as well as assisting at other key points in the recruitment and assessment process.

This role is 35 hours a week, 52 weeks a year.
Key responsibilities:
• Work as part of the Admissions Team to support the department’s administration tasks as directed by the Admissions Registrar
• Answer phone calls within the department, answering parental questions and directing calls when necessary
• Support the Admissions Event Manager with planning of Open Day events
• Help with set up and take down in the marquee and memorial hall for Open Day visitors
• Welcome visiting families to the College at Open Days and Visit Days
• Help with the planning and organisation of Sunday Experience Days for prospective pupils
• Assist with tours of the College for prospective families when needed
• Help to plan out Open Days by providing support as directed by the Admissions Events manager
• Assist other members of the Admissions department with aspects of their roles as directed by the Admissions Registrar
• Manage and maintain the stocks of printed materials in the Admissions Department
• Help with the planning of marketing materials
• Assist the Director of Admissions at Prep School events and Admissions Shows when required
• Support the efficient running of the various Scholarship assessment days for Lower Sixth and 13+/Shell entry
• Help prepare literature and materials for Prep School events and fairs, processing written enquiries after these events
• General duties including: ordering hospitality and stationary supplies, booking taxis and making coffees/teas for visitors and maintaining stocks of printed materials.
Requirements:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
