Job Title: Site Agent - Shaft Sinking / Tunnelling
Location: Otterbourne
Rate: £350 per day
Contract Length: 12 months contract with potential extension and long‑term role on a major water infrastructure scheme
About the Opportunity
We're recruiting an experienced Site Agent to oversee shaft sinking and tunnelling works on a major water treatment project in Otterbourne. This is a long‑term role on a complex infrastructure package, ideal for someone with strong experience in utilities, tunnelling or water treatment environments.
What You'll Be Doing
* Manage daily site operations across shaft sinking and tunnelling works
* Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials
* Ensure delivery is safe, on programme and to technical specification
* Maintain strict H&S, quality and environmental standards
* Liaise with engineers, project managers and client representatives
* Support planning, permits, RAMS and progress reporting
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Proven Site Agent experience on tunnelling, shaft sinking, utilities or water treatment projects
* Strong knowledge of water/wastewater environments
* Excellent understanding of H&S and site management procedures
* SMSTS - essential
* CSCS - essential
* Temporary Works knowledge - advantageous
