We are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Geography to join their team from September 2026 or January 2027.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate practitioner to deliver engaging Geography lessons within a supportive and forward‑thinking environment. The successful candidate will help students develop curiosity about the world, strong academic knowledge, and the skills required to succeed.

Roles & Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and well‑planned Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
* Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to support achievement
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Use IT effectively to enhance teaching and learning
* Support curriculum delivery and contribute to departmental development
* Act as a form tutor, supporting student wellbeing and personal development
* Contribute to enrichment opportunities, including trips and visits
* Participate in wider school activities and professional development
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in Geography or a related subject
* Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
* Evidence, or clear potential, of securing strong pupil outcomes
* Ability to use a range of teaching strategies, including IT to enhance learning
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Commitment to professional development
* Willingness to contribute to pastoral support and form tutoring
