We’re an inclusive, ambitious and forward‑looking University in a vibrant city that’s constantly evolving. We’re also entering an exciting new phase with a refreshed vision and strategic ambitions shaped around the changing higher education landscape.

As we move through 2026, we’re celebrating being recognised as:

As a Study Abroad Adviser, you will support the development, coordination, and promotion of the University’s Study Abroad programmes, working closely with students, academic colleagues, and international partners to deliver an exceptional mobility experience.

The role involves managing relationships with overseas institutions, coordinating student placements and exchanges, supporting incoming and outgoing students, and ensuring the effective administration of international mobility activity. You will also lead the coordination and submission of the University’s Turing Scheme funding bid, oversee related operational activity, and support the management of workloads associated with Study Abroad and funded mobility programmes.

Working collaboratively across faculties and professional services, you will help identify opportunities available to students, provide expert guidance throughout the application and placement process, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the University’s international ambitions.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape international experiences, support student success, and contribute to the University’s global engagement agenda.

Please note that this role is fixed‑term maternity cover for 10‑months.
