About us
UCL Careers provides careers education to current students, graduates and staff of UCL, as well as recruitment solutions for employers. UCL Careers delivers both a university‑wide ‘core’ service and bespoke careers support within selected academic areas, including the UCL School of Management (SoM).
The UCL School of Management is home to UCL’s business and management research and education programmes, with a reputation for world‑leading teaching and research in areas such as innovation, technology‑intensive organisations, business analytics and entrepreneurship. The School is also a member of the Chartered Association of Business Schools.
You will form part of a team of Careers Consultants and Employer Engagement professionals, to plan and deliver a comprehensive provision of Careers and Employability opportunities. This includes a mix of workshops, seminars, 1:1 coaching and application support, ensuring that every student has access to personal, bespoke support on their own unique careers journey, and the ability to excel in the recruitment process.
About you
You will ideally bring knowledge and experience from one or more of the following areas: public sector, policy and government; sustainability; international organisations; entrepreneurship; consultancy. This could include previous work experience in industry, HR or recruitment, or experience supporting similar cohorts within a university or business school setting.
You should be an excellent communicator and facilitator, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders and to develop strong working relationships. Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead, prioritise effectively, and evaluate the impact of your work are essential.
