About the Physical Education Teacher Role
ANZUK Education are working with a high-achieving, forward-thinking secondary school in North London to appoint a dedicated and passionate PE Teacher to join their dynamic department. This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible, with potential for a long-term or permanent appointment for the right candidate.
You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team that values enthusiasm, high standards, and a genuine commitment to student wellbeing and achievement. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3–4, with the ability to inspire students to achieve their personal best both in theory and practical sessions.
Key Responsibilities of a Physical Education Teacher
Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Promote a culture of participation, sportsmanship, and physical wellbeing.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
Contribute to extracurricular sporting opportunities and school events.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school priorities. Requirements for the Physical Education Teacher role
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching PE at secondary level in the UK.
Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
A proactive, professional attitude and a passion for education.
An up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
