Data Manager – Education & Care Sector – Suffolk – Up to £32,000
Are you a data professional ready to shape and enhance the way an established educational and care organisation uses data? We are working on behalf of a respected institution supporting the education and care sectors. They are seeking a proactive Data Manager to lead on the development and oversight of their data systems.
You will be at the forefront of improving data quality, driving data-led decisions, and managing systems such as iSAMS, Raisers Edge, and other MIS tools. This pivotal role involves supporting strategic planning, compliance, reporting, and performance monitoring across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop the core Management Information System (MIS)
* Deliver accurate reporting and visual analytics for leadership teams
* Support compliance, GDPR data audits, and statutory returns
* Develop efficient data processes, integrations, and staff training
* Maintain and manage academic timetabling systems
* Act as a technical point of escalation for system-related issues
Skills & Experience
* Experience managing MIS platforms (e.g. iSAMS)
* Proficiency with Excel, SQL, and data visualisation tools
* Strong understanding of GDPR and data security principles
* Experience in education or care settings (desirable)
* Ability to train and support staff on data systems
* SharePoint, Power Automate, or Power Query exposure
* SSRS and SQL database familiarity
* Data cleansing and audit experience
