This apprenticeship is a genuine career-launching opportunity with St Monica Trust, giving you real experience, a recognised qualification, and the chance to grow with us.You’ll earn while you learn, gaining a Level 2 Adult Care Worker qualification alongside hands-on experience in a professional, supportive environment.What’s in it for you?£11.25 per hour, plus enhancements where applicable30 hours per week, including protected study timeMonday - Sunday, 07:00 - 14:30 or 14:00 - 21:30 (every other weekend)Dedicated support from your team, manager, apprenticeship provider and Apprenticeship LeadA strong foundation for long-term career progressionWhat you’ll be doing:You’ll be supporting people to live fulfilling, independent lives while building valuable skills for a career in care:Providing person-centred care and support to individuals with a range of needsMaking a difference every day by supporting people with their independence, wellbeing and confidenceDeveloping communication skills to build positive relationships with residents, families and professionalsSupporting daily living activities such as personal care, nutrition and wellbeingPromoting dignity, respect, safeguarding and equality in all aspects of careLearning how to use care plans and digital systems to record what you doWorking as part of a team with colleagues and health professionals to deliver high-quality careWhat could this lead to?While not guaranteed, many apprentices go on to permanent roles with St Monica Trust.
