Key Duties:
1. Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging and effective Science/Biology curriculum for Stage 4-6 students, with a particular focus on HSC success.
2. Student Engagement: Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
3. Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to create a cohesive and effective learning community. Participate actively in faculty discussions and contribute to extracurricular programs.
5. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with the latest educational practices.
Skills & Experience:
6. Secondary teacher qualification, with Biology as method
7. Experience teaching and preparing for HSC is desirable
8. Proficiency in using technology to enhance the learning experience, including familiarity with the Google Suite.
9. Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs.
10. Hold a valid and up to date NESA registration
11. Hold a valid Working with Children Check
12. Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
13. Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references

18. Offering of salary based on your proven experience, with a range of $90,100 - $130,000 + 12% Super
