Elvet Recruitment are recruiting an Assistant Site Manager on behalf of an established main construction contractor to assist in the running of projects across the North East. Applicants will need to show a track record of excellent management and communication skills with the ability to proactively manage construction projects, including direct labour and sub-contractor resource and the ability to deliver quality construction projects within budget and programme timescales in a safe environment. This company works as principal contractor on projects including: Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, etc. This particular requirement would be suited to someone with previous New Build project experience. Duties/Responsibilities: * Supporting Site Manager to manage site team and supply chain to deliver projects to quality targets and deadlines. * Assist in producing construction phase plans and programming works. * Co-ordination of various sub-contractors and direct delivery teams. * Progress reports and meetings with senior management and clients. * Ordering materials for site and managing supply chain. * Daily site diaries & briefings.
