We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer to work at our client's site in Great Baddow, Chelmsford, on a permanent basis. This role involves supporting aerospace research and manufacturing projects, collaborating with engineering and technical staff within our laboratories.
Responsibilities include:
* Manufacturing small batch, prototype, and production aerospace components within time and budget constraints.
* Programming, setting, and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines using CADCAM software and machine controls.
* Operating manual milling machines and lathes.
Candidate requirements:
* Experienced CNC milling machinist.
* 3D CADCAM programming experience.
* Ability to program, set, and operate various machine tools, including manual milling machines and lathes.
* Qualified to NVQ Level 3 Engineering or higher.
* Apprentice trained.
* Desirable: experience working with designers and engineers on hardware design and aerospace component manufacture.
