Pay Rate: £90-£115 per day

About the Role
As a SEND Child Support Worker, you will support pupils across KS3 and KS4 who require additional help with learning, communication, social interaction, or sensory needs. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing one-to‑one and small‑group support
* Helping pupils engage fully in classroom learning
* Supporting emotional regulation, communication and social development
* Using visual aids, structured routines, and sensory strategies
* Assisting with personal care where needed
* Creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment
* Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and families
Were Looking For
We welcome applicants with experience from SEND settings, schools, nurseries, alternative provisions, residential care, or healthcare environments. You should:
* Bring patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children
* Be confident supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, communication needs, or developmental delays
* Value structure, clear communication, and consistency
* Be reliable, resilient, and committed to helping children reach their potential
* Be open to learning new skills and approaches
