Pay Rate:
£25-£30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role:
As an SEN Tutor, you will provide one-to-one or small group support to students with a range of additional needs, including:
1. ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
2. ADHD
3. SEMH needs
4. Speech and Language difficulties
5. Learning difficulties and additional support needs
Key Responsibilities:
6. Deliver personalised and engaging tuition sessions
7. Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets
8. Build positive relationships with students and families
9. Support students’ academic progress, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
10. Monitor progress and provide feedback where required
Requirements:
11. Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
12. Experience tutoring or teaching preferred
13. Strong communication and behaviour management skills
14. Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
15. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
16. Right to work in the UK
