About the Role
We are currently recruiting Agency Support Workers to support a newly established supported living service for individuals with mental health needs in the Burton-Upon-Trent area.
This is a great opportunity to work within a small, well-supported environment, providing day-to-day support to residents in a calm and structured setting.
What You'll Be Doing
* Carrying out welfare checks and providing emotional support
* Building positive relationships with residents
* Supporting with day-to-day activities
* Assisting with medication counting (no administering required)
* Updating notes and records on internal systems
* Working as part of a team (no lone working)
What We're Looking For
We're looking for reliable, proactive individuals who:
* Have experience in support work and/or mental health settings (preferred)
* Have a basic understanding of mental health needs
* Are calm, engaging, and confident
* Take initiative and are happy to get involved with residents
* Can adapt quickly in a new service
Desirable:
* Mental Health training
* First Aid training
* Experience working in supported living settings
