Location: Newent, Gloucestershire • Salary: £27,000 per annum • Full Time, Permanent

Responsibilities
* Provide support to our people team across recruitment, onboarding and learning & development (L&D), as well as routine queries.
* Work closely with our HR Business Partner; provide meeting support, produce reports and help team members to use our HR and training platforms.
* Support the finance team to process the monthly payroll.
Everyone should have a warm, safe, affordable home. As our HR Assistant you’ll play a key role helping our team members deliver this for thousands of people in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.
What Youll Bring To The Team
* Using your skills and experience you’ll keep our HR systems up to date and accurate, following the right processes to ensure employee information is private and secure.
* Build good relationships with our team members, from senior executives to apprentices, and help solve problems with a friendly, customer-focused service.
What Were Looking For
* Good general experience of working in a people team at entry level.
* Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of the housing sector.
* Good problem solving and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to time-manage, set priorities and work to strict deadlines.
* Basic understanding of the HR partnership with payroll services and the use of HR systems.
* Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office to support employees and the business.
* Excellent oral and written communications.
* CIPD qualification level three or equivalent or desire to work towards this.
