* Full Time Permanent Contract
* 42 hours per week, 24/7 shift pattern including days and nights.

Essential Responsibilities
* Use a variety of inspection tools safely and competently
* Use complex inspection equipment, such as CMM and/or electronic measuring equipment
* Completing concessions raise NCRs and minor rework forms as required when non-conforming product has been identified
* Final release of parts to customer signing certificates of conformity
* To participate in 8D investigations where required
* Complete first and final inspection of parts
* Use complex inspection equipment, such as CMM and/or electronic measuring equipment
* Full inspection for FAI and prove out
* Interpret, follow and read engineering drawings and SOPs without supervision
* Directly and proactively suggest improvements to processes particularly with new product introduction within the customer specification
* Process and make recommendations regarding quality issues
* Liaise with quality, production and engineering teams to improve quality
* Support with problem solving root cause and corrective action activities
* Attend daily SQCDP meetings, and feedback information as required
* Conduct inspection activities within agreed time scales to meet sales targets
* Ensure all monitoring and measuring equipment is within calibration before use. Escalate any out of calibration equipment to the inspection team leader
* Carry out operations safely with regard to own and others safety and dispose of waste correctly
* Maintain high standards of 6S and directly offer improvements
Position Requirements
Academic
* Engineering trade qualification or recognised NVQ at level 3 in machining or inspection, or similar relevant qualification and/or apprenticeship
Experience
* Aerospace parts manufacture including treatments
* Product inspection to drawing
* Processing of non-conforming parts and completion of NCRs
* CMM experience
