Geography Teacher – Starting January 2026
Salary: £36,455 – £53,955 (full‑time). The role is based at an outstanding school in Harrow, North West London.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Geography Teacher eager to inspire students in a diverse, collegiate environment that encourages exploration of the world through a geographical lens.
This is a full‑time position until August 2025, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. As a Geography Teacher you will play a crucial role in developing students’ understanding of the world around them, preparing them for future academic and career success.
What You Will Be Doing
* Deliver engaging Geography lessons that spark curiosity and encourage critical thinking.
* Teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, covering human & natural geography, environmental sustainability, and global issues.
* Encourage deep understanding of geographical concepts and critical thinking about the world.
* Plan dynamic lessons that bring geography to life, integrating current teaching methods and technology.
* Assess and support student progress, ensuring exam readiness.
* Collaborate with a dedicated team of Geography Teachers to deliver a stimulating curriculum.
We Are Looking For
* Recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
* A genuine passion for Geography and a desire to inspire students.
* Commitment to fostering positive student behaviour and a focused learning environment.
* Ability to engage students and make Geography exciting, relevant, and accessible to all.
* Commitment to helping students reach their full potential and develop a love for lifelong learning.
* Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3/4 is desirable but not essential.
