2 Year Fixed Term Secondment Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist at band 7 to join our team in Aberdeen City.
About the Role
Band 7; 18 hours per week – Neuro Home Link Team, Woodend Hospital.
The Neuro Home Link (NHL) Team is a multidisciplinary team that includes allied health professionals and neuro psychologists. The team supports patients with acquired neurological impairments as part of their transition back to independent or supported living. There are ongoing developments within the neuro service, making it an exciting time to join the team.
Responsibilities
* Deliver transitional services within the neuro pathway as part of the NHL team.
* Work under the support of senior Speech and Language Therapists and may oversee Health Care Support Workers to implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
* Provide supervision and collaboration within the Adult Speech and Language Therapy team of the Aberdeen Health and Social Care partnership.
* If the post operates within the Aberdeen City Low Emission Zone, you will be responsible for all costs associated with entering.
Qualifications
* Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist.
* Licensed car driver.
* Experience or training in dysphagia is desirable.
