Overview
Lead quality control systems to ensure compliance with project design and specifications. You'll have line management responsibility for other Site and Graduate/Trainee Engineers. Ensure the highest Health, Safety & Environmental standards across all projects, adhering to Milestone health and safety policy/environmental policy and supporting the ISWM culture. You'll survey & Engineering Control, checking all sub-contractor and direct labour works. Review design and propose solutions by raising RFIs and communicating to Designers/Sub Contractors. Keep accurate records including site diary, records of works activities, resource allocations and as-built information using AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
* Lead quality control systems to ensure compliance with project design and specifications.
* Line management responsibility for Site and Graduate/Trainee Engineers.
* Maintain high Health, Safety & Environmental standards across all projects, following Milestone policies and supporting the It Starts With Me culture.
* Survey & Engineering Control responsibilities: check all sub-contractor and direct labour works.
* Review design and propose solutions by raising RFIs and communicating with Designers/Sub Contractors.
* Maintain accurate records (site diary, records of works activities, resource allocations, as-built information) using AutoCAD.
What you'll bring
* Good level of experience in civil engineering and workforce supervision including earthworks, drainage, structures and highways.
* Ability to review documents including AutoCAD for planning and take-off.
* Flexible approach to the role and ability to drive change.
* Highly organised, able to juggle priorities, multi-task for multiple stakeholders, and stay focused on priorities.
