Overview
Our client, a leading UK-based digital consultancy, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join its growing team. In this strategic and hands-on role, you’ll help shape digital products and services that make a measurable impact on users, organisations, and society.
As a Senior Consultant, you will combine product strategy, delivery leadership, and client advisory skills — defining clear visions, building actionable roadmaps, and ensuring successful delivery of outcomes. You’ll mentor colleagues, influence senior stakeholders, and play a key role in strengthening the organisation’s Product Management Community of Practice.
Responsibilities
* Vision and Strategy
o Define and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with business goals and user needs.
o Develop and maintain product roadmaps, connecting strategy to execution.
o Establish success measures (KPIs/OKRs) to track progress and outcomes.
* Delivery and Risk Management
o Lead complex, multi-stream projects, balancing strategic focus with delivery at pace.
o Champion Agile principles, adapting approaches to suit context and client environments.
o Identify delivery risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
* Stakeholder Engagement
o Build strong, collaborative relationships across teams and with senior stakeholders.
o Use data and user insights to inform decision-making and influence outcomes.
o Support internal improvement and innovation initiatives.
* User-Centred Practice
o Ensure accessibility, inclusion, and user needs are central throughout the product lifecycle.
o Work closely with service designers, researchers, and engineers to deliver meaningful, user-focused outcomes.
* Leadership and Mentorship
o Lead multidisciplinary teams with clarity and empathy.
o Coach product professionals, enabling autonomy and capability growth across teams.
About You
* 5+ years of hands-on product management or product ownership experience.
* Proven track record defining product strategy, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
* Skilled in prioritisation, discovery, and end-to-end delivery across Agile environments.
* Confident managing technical products and translating complex concepts into user value.
* Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving improvement in team performance.
* Strong facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
* Experience delivering for Government or NHS clients.
* Familiarity with GDS standards, service phases (Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live), and assessments.
* Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design best practices.
