Job Title: Lead / Software Engineer
Location: Richmond, VA.
Job Responsibilities
* Required skill set: Python or Golang, AWS (Step functions, Lambda, DynamoDB)
* Developing web applications using frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
* Writing efficient, reusable, and testable code to build server-side logic.
* Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic and collaborating with front-end developers.
* Implementing data storage solutions and managing data interchange between the server and users (SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL).
* Developing data processing pipelines and leveraging libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn for data analysis and AI/ML applications.
* Automating processes using Python scripts and managing CI/CD pipelines.
* Designing and developing scalable, reliable backend services and APIs using Go.
* Implementing RESTful APIs and gRPC services with a focus on performance optimization.
* Utilizing Go's concurrency primitives (goroutines and channels) to build high-performance, concurrent applications.
* Working with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (which is itself written in Go).
* Integrating with various databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
* Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications for maximum efficiency and security.
