Job Summary: Modality LLP is a large-scale provider of NHS Outpatient Services, renowned for its innovative approach to delivering efficient pathways for patients requiring specialist care, leading to high quality patient outcomes. We work in partnership with a number of hospitals across the country to collaboratively redesign outpatient services with more care being delivered in community settings. As one of the UKs largest providers of community-based Dermatology services, Modality LLP is expanding the existing team through the recruitment of experienced dermatology nurses to support future growth of our community dermatology services. We are seeking dedicated postholders to join our team who can display our CARE values: Commitment, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. This role is suitable for individuals with a passion for working in an agile manner to ensure a high-quality service is provided. The postholder(s) will undertake any other duties commensurate with the role, within the bounds of their own competence.

Location and role details: Lyndon House, 62 Hagley Road, Birmingham, B16 8PE. Job type: Permanent, Full-time, Flexible working. Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per year (salary offered is WTE and dependent on experience).
Main duties of the job
Our community dermatology service manages a wide range of dermatological conditions that would otherwise be referred to secondary care. Our team of consultants, GPwERs and specialist nurses provide patients with rapid access to specialist opinion from a choice of clinic locations across Sandwell and Birmingham. This role will support the continued growth of the service to offer access to a wider range of treatments within primary care and the community setting. We strive to deliver exceptional standards of care within the community setting where patients are seen within 3 months from referral and referring GPs can access timely advice and guidance. The service also incorporates a regular consultant-led MDT to support our cliniciansurther, travel between clinic locations will be essential.

Modality LLP is a provider of NHS community outpatient services within a number of regions across the UK. Our service offer and expertise include: over 15 years of experience, contracts with ICBs and hospital providers, a diverse clinical workforce of consultants, GPs with extended roles, specialist nurses and allied health professionals, delivery of over 120,000 patient consultations per year, and delivery of 1st consultations within a maximum of 4 weeks from referral from a choice of community locations, 7 days per week.

Person Specification
Qualifications – Essential
* NMC Registered general nurse
Knowledge – Essential
* Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience
* A strong understanding of multi-disciplinary and/or multi-agency working within a community setting
* Competence in individual caseload management and ability to prioritise own work
* Knowledge and understanding of psychosocial issues affecting patients with chronic illness
Desirable
* Experience of working within a dermatology setting
* Experience of working within a similar environment within primary/secondary care
Personal qualities – Essential
* Basic IT skills
* Flexibility with working hours to meet service needs
* Full driving licence and ability to travel between service locations
* Ability to work on own initiative and organise workload with minimal supervision
* Demonstrates tact, discretion and initiative during shifts
