Job Title: Commercial Account Executive

Location: Northampton (Hybrid)

Are you a driven Commercial Account Executive ready to build something from the ground up?

My client is a highly established, boutique high-net-worth insurance brokerage, newly backed by a larger insurance group. This isn’t simply joining a brokerage; it’s building a commercial business within one. You’ll be the first Commercial Account Executive on the ground, meaning the entire commercial arm of the business will be shaped around you. As the division grows, so will your seniority, earnings and influence. You’ll establish the service model, set the standards, and have the scope to grow and lead a team beneath you. With a loyal network of high-net-worth clients, many of whom own successful companies, the opportunity to convert existing trust into commercial relationships is huge. Success here has genuine potential to create exponential growth: for your book, your career trajectory, and your leadership presence within the group.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Leading the launch and development of the commercial division.
* Advising clients across a wide range of commercial insurance classes
* Leveraging HNW personal client relationships to identify business insurance opportunities
* Developing new business through referrals and cross-selling
* Negotiating bespoke solutions and competitive terms with insurers
* Playing a strategic role in commercial planning and service delivery


What You Will Need

* Experience as a Commercial Account Executive or within commercial business development
* Strong knowledge across multiple commercial lines
* Confident communicator comfortable engaging high-net-worth professionals
* Relationship-led, consultative approach to client service
* Self-motivated, ambitious, and able to work independently
* Entrepreneurial mindset with desire to build and lead a new commercial function
