Due to continued global growth, the finance function is evolving to support transformation projects, strengthen multi-entity reporting, and deliver high-quality insights across several jurisdictions.
The Role
As a Management Accountant, you'll play a key part in the financial operations of a dynamic, international business. You'll support group consolidation, ensure accurate reporting, and assist with audits across entities in the UK, Canada, the US, and Germany.
This position offers exposure to complex, multi-currency environments, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with preparation of group consolidation, management, and statutory accounts
* Oversee purchase ledger, including POs, invoice posting, accruals, and prepayments
* Manage supplier payments and treasury processes across multiple banking platforms
* Monitor cash flow and manage group deposits
* Handle VAT and indirect tax submissions across various regions
* Maintain payroll reconciliations and assist with onboarding/offboarding staff
* Post month-end journals, reconciliations, and FX adjustments
* Support annual audits and collaborate with external auditors
* Generate financial and analytical reports from ERP systems (SAP Business ByDesign preferred)
* Contribute to finance system and BI tool enhancements
About You
* Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Experience working within a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
* Sound knowledge of payroll, tax, and treasury
* Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
* Familiarity with SAP Business ByDesign or similar ERP system (advantageous)
* Exposure to project-based or time-and-bill environments (beneficial)
* Genuine interest in sustainability and innovation
