Skanska Building Services are experts in Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) engineering, delivering a wide variety of large commercial projects across many sectors.
We are looking for a Project Director to lead the delivery of large‑scale, multi‑disciplinary commercial projects in London, ensuring timely delivery, commercial performance, governance and adherence to Skanska values throughout all project phases.
What you'll do
* Actively implement the Skanska Building Services Business Strategy within the commercial market.
* Manage commercial and contractual interests, ensuring revenue and income targets are achieved with full profit and loss responsibility.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of the operating unit plan for this role.
* Lead strategy for expanding our customer base, including key account management.
* Conduct project reviews, resolve issues and drive improvements in systems, processes and people.
* Compile tender submissions, manage the procurement process, articulate risk profiles and secure sign‑off from the Senior Leadership Team.
What you'll bring to the role
* Strong engineering background in the MEP discipline.
* Commercial acumen with a proven record in pre‑construction, procurement and execution of medium‑to‑large commercial projects.
* Experience leading project teams on London commercial schemes of £10–£50 M MEP value.
* Track record of managing costs, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality on major projects.
