Job Summary
Stirling Council is seeking an Infrastructure Project Engineer to play a key role in the delivery of major and strategic projects across Stirling, improving the region’s connectivity and economic ambitions.
You Will
* Undertake and contribute to the provision of technical advice and guidance on all aspects of transport best practice across modes, to support economic aims for the council and for energy‑related designs.
* Investigate, develop and evaluate design solutions on the basis of their value and impact on the environment, safety, economy, integration, accessibility, quality of design and ease of construction.
* Brief, take oversight and contribute to technical surveys, assessment and feasibility studies, preparation of drawings, compilation of bills of quantities and evaluation of cost estimates.
* Work with the council’s Roads Design Team and other internal teams, and with contractors and consultants to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
* Support colleagues and contribute to knowledge‑sharing across the service.
Requirements
Roads design and delivery experience with ambition to gain further experience and professional status. Motivated, solutions‑focused and ready to make a real impact.
