PSV – HGV Mechanic - Fitter – Permanent PositionLocation: MansfieldSalary:Basic: £34,000 per annumOvertime Rate: £18.88 per hourAbout the Role:Venatu Recruitment Group is partnering with our client in the Mansfield area to recruit a permanent PSV Mechanic/Fitter. We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Shift Fitter to join our client in Mansfield.In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a modern and varied fleet of vehicles, ensuring passengers travel safely and comfortably every day.Key Responsibilities:• Routine maintenance and repair of PSV vehicles• Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs• Working in both a depot environment and responding to breakdowns on the road• Ensuring high standards of engineering maintenance• Supporting the transition to hybrid and electric vehicle technologiesBenefits:28 days holiday per yearFree travel for you and a companionCareer development opportunities including training in hybrid and electric vehiclesShift Pattern:Guaranteed 38 hours per weekWorking Monday to FridayVarious start timesWhat We're Looking For:Experience in vehicle maintenance (bus, HGV/LGV, truck, automotive, plant, rail, or farm machinery)Ideally qualified to one of the following:PCV or HGV City & GuildsBTECNVQ Level 3 Engineering in HGV or PSVTime ServedApply now or contact Sally Maxwell at Venatu Recruitment Group to discuss this role further.
