Infrastructure Support Engineer (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Colchester
This role involves supporting the Network Operations Centre (NOC) at Telent, providing administrative support to ensure incident resolution and KPI adherence. The position requires working on a 24/7 shift rota.
Responsibilities:
1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
2. Create incident tickets from customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Allocate and dispatch tickets to technical and support teams.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management with providers and regional teams.
7. Communicate incident updates to customers.
8. Collaborate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Qualifications:
Previous experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, ideally within a NOC environment.
Key Skills:
* 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution experience.
* Strong communication skills across all levels of seniority.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
