Your new company Hays is delighted to be working with an SME manufacturer who has a very niche product. The company offers hybrid working 1 to 2 days and is looking for an experienced Finance Manager/Controller. Your new role Supporting the MD, this is an A-Z role involving all ledger work, VAT, Payroll Sage (monthly for circa 40), management accounts, budgets and P11ds. You will also produce final accounts for the external Accountants. The role will manage a small team of 1 so is very hands-on and covers the A_Z of accounts. What you'll need to succeed We are looking for an experienced SME Accountant ideally with knowledge of Sage Payroll who is happy in a hands-on role and rolling up their sleeves. You will need to be confident speaking with a hands-on Managing Director and controlling the day-to-day financial control. Knowledge of Sage is also useful. Candidates can be both Qualified or Qualified by Experience. What you'll get in return A basic between £45000-55000, early Friday finish, one to 2 days hybrid, pension and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
