Proactive Personnel are seeking a Class 2 Drivers to join our clients team in Nelson, Lancashire ASAP! Duties: * The post holder shall be required, after training, to drive a wide range of cleansing equipment such as LGV refuse collection Vehicles, mechanical sweepers, loading shovel, gully taker in addition to compact mechanical sweepers and 3.5T pick ups. * The post holder shall also be required to use a works issued mobile telephone, digital tacograph equipment and any in cab communication systems introduced in the future as part of our clients bid to improve service delivery. * To provide efficient and effective refuse/recycling collection service in the removal of household waste including bulky goods, industrial and commercial refuse, co-mingled waste and garden waste from a variety of locations e.g. domestic, shops, schools farms etc... * To monitor on a day-to-day basis your progress and to be responsible for reporting any problems or reasons for shortfalls back to the supervisory staff. * To ensure work is completed in accordance within the time, quality and standard. Hours are Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 15:30 and Friday 07:30 - 15:00. Pay is £15.10 per hour paid weekly. Please be aware this is a temporary position, we cannot guarantee a permanent contract.
