The role will involve responsibility for statutory reporting, month-end management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting acquisitions and audit processes across the group. The successful candidate will also play a key role in reviewing controls, improving procedures, and supporting the wider finance function.
Key responsibilities will include:
Producing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
Managing the month-end close process and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
Supporting acquisitions including purchase price accounting and goodwill reviews
Assisting with interim and year-end audit requirements
Reviewing and improving financial controls and finance processes
Managing and developing junior finance team members
The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong technical accounting knowledge and previous experience within a practice environment. Candidates making a first or second move from practice into industry are encouraged to apply, particularly those with exposure to statutory accounts, audit, and group reporting.
