Overview
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and committed individual to the post of Engineering Officer within our Lighting Team.
You will provide engineering / technical services as necessary within the client, operations and consultancy functions of a Roads & Transportation Service.
You will be an experienced individual, preferably Incorporated or Chartered Engineer, or someone that can demonstrate that they are working towards this.
You must have (as a minimum) an HNC in Engineering, or equivalent in a relevant subject, and be able to travel across South Lanarkshire.

Work Pattern: Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 4.45pm and Friday 8.45am - 4.15pm
Salary
Salary: £40,804 - £46,991
Responsibilities
* Provision of electrical and lighting design, estimating, installation and project management services.
* Implementation of Electrical Inspection & Testing and Routine Maintenance Programmes to ensure compliance with Statutory and Departmental requirements.
* Assisting with the management of performance to ensure that Statutory and Key Performance Indicator values are maintained at or above current levels.
* Ensuring timeous and efficient processing of instructions and payments for General Maintenance and Discrete Projects.
* Assist in the delivery of Festive Lighting provision.
* Performance Auditing and Productivity.
* Provision of electrical energy load and cost analysis and estimating function.
* Assist in preparing statistical data for A.P.S.E. & R.A.M.P. returns.
* Analysis and approval of Electrical / Lighting elements of Construction Consents and Planning Applications.
