Are you an organised and proactive administrator with a passion for people?

Southgate Primary School and Greenway Primary School are seeking a dedicated People Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term contract. This exciting opportunity involves supporting both schools with a wide range of People administration tasks, including recruitment and onboarding, compliance checks, data management and payroll input.

Your Opportunity

Working closely with staff across both settings and the wider GLF Schools People Team, you'll play a key role in ensuring our processes run smoothly and meet the highest standards—especially around safer recruitment and regulatory compliance. If you thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy variety in your day, and have a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you.

The role is for 20 hours per week, with working days and working pattern to be agreed in consultation with the successful candidate. Occasional flexibility will be required to support OFSTED inspections. As a flexible employer, we are open to exploring flexible working patterns during the interview process.

If you’re skilled, adaptable, and passionate about people and education, we’d love to hear from you.

What we are looking for:

1. A good awareness and understanding of people administration, to ensure compliance with regulation and procedures
2. Excellent written and communication skills
3. Excellent interpersonal, including the ability to form rapport and build good working relationships with others
4. Flexible approach and the ability to work on their own initiative
5. A relevant HR qualification equivalent to Level 3 (Foundation Certificate in People Practice) would be advantageous, as would experience of working within a school environment, but neither are essential.

Join the GLF Schools Community

As a part of GLF Schools, you will join a community of staff dedicated to transforming education. With regular progression discussions, there will be a wealth of opportunities for you to grow your career, whether in one of our 43 academies or in our central team.

6. A growing Multi Academy Trust with over 2,000 colleagues and over 17,000 pupils
7. Founded upon the values of Respect, Inclusivity, Integrity and Kindness
8. 43 primary and secondary schools across 7 Local Authority areas across the south of England
9. We work as a community whilst ensuring each school maintains its own unique identity
10. Committed to ensuring all children and young people receive the best possible education
