This Director FSI Startups role will be part of the Startup Successteamand the person will beresponsible forfordriving the success of our portfolio of Fintech and Artificial Intelligence (AI )startupswith end customers in the Financial Services industry. This will require a good technical and business understanding of customer scenarios that Fintech and AI solutions canaddressand how the startup solution along with Microsoft first party offerings can combine to provide value to the customer.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Sciences, or related field, relevant work experience (e.g., investment banking, consulting, finance, marketing, corporate strategy, sales, venture capital, legal, business development, product management, project management, software development, or related field)OR equivalent experience
2. Experience in the financial services industry

Responsibilities
6. Leverages internal and external relationships as a trusted advisor to advise complex (e.g., large, high impact) customers and Startups on domain expertise as a sought-out resource across multiple lines of business, geographies, and cultures, as appropriate; advises startups and decision makers on the industry and company and provides industry expertise internally and externally.
7. Drives customer and startup business initiatives, and contributes to customer's strategy discussions,leveragingknowledge of customer and startup business priorities and/or drivers, andanticipatingchanges and actions to drive influence around the product roadmap and prioritization, and proactively guide customer and startup decision making.
8. Develops key relationships with end customers and Microsoft account teams in the Financial Servicesindustryso you are their first call when looking for innovative technology solutions.
9. Creates business value propositions based on company, startup, and/or customer needs for a particular product/industry. Drives support and action by influencing internal stakeholders and partners and promoting the value of opportunities.
10. Positions the Microsoft value proposition versus competitors and works with stakeholders to influence product roadmap to meet customer needs,leveragingknowledge of Microsoft and customer issues in conjunction with product/industry teams toestablisha foundation for future opportunities in competitive situations through collaboration. Provides insightonindustry and/or competitive trends and drives action based on insights.
11. Leverages relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders to identify and validate unique opportunities that span business areas or address high-priority gaps across technology, product, business, and geography, uses data trends to inform decisions across deals, and drives deals to increase growth and achieve desired outcomes while anticipating potential issues and providing input into partner recommendations.
