40 hours per weekMonday - Friday (occasional weekend)£30,000 - £32,500 per annumSodexo rewards and benefitsSodexo is seeking an experienced Events &Bar Manager to take full responsibility for the daily management, coordination, and delivery of bar and functions services across designated and affiliated sites.This is a leadership role responsible for minimising risk, maximising operational performance, and delivering excellent guest experiences while maintaining full compliance with contractual requirements, KPIs, and company policies.Key Responsibilities -Manage and coordinate all bar and function operations across the siteLead, motivate, and manage frontline teams delivering bar and function servicesPlan, organise, and oversee guest services and event deliveryEnsure standards outlined in SLAs, KPIs, and contracts are consistently metControl budgets, costs, and contribute to commercial performanceReconcile daily cash takings and resolve discrepanciesConduct weekly banking and submit financial documentationManage stock control, ordering, and weekly stock checksDeliver training and conduct team briefs, huddles, and safety walksDrive a positive health, safety, and wellbeing cultureMonitor suppliers and service partners to ensure agreed standards are metSupport marketing initiatives and promotional activityEnsure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulationsProvide daily accounting documentation to the Site AdministratorAssist visitors and guests in line with site rulesCarry out additional duties as reasonably requiredWhat you bring:Essential -Management experience within Soft FM or hospitality servicesStrong people management skills, including recruitment, performance management, and HR processesExcellent numerical, interpersonal, and communication skillsSound knowledge of Health & Safety and Food SafetyStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilityHigh attention to detail and commitment to service standardsDesirable -Knowledge of military customs and working environmentsExperience using Kronos and UDC Payroll systemsHealth & Safety qualification (IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent)Food Safety qualification (CIEH Level 3 or equivalent)What we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.You'll belong in a company and team that values you for you; you'll act with purpose and have an impact through your everyday actions; and you'll be able to thrive in your own way.
