The Role As Senior Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring the kitchen brigade. Working closely with the Head Chef and senior team, youll ensure that every dish leaving the pass reflects the highest standards of quality, consistency, and creativity.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading your section with precision and passion, ensuring dishes are executed to the highest level.
Coaching and developing junior chefs, fostering a culture of growth, teamwork, and excellence.
Overseeing kitchen operations, audits, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Managing stock, ordering, and cost controls, with responsibility for accurate reporting and inventory management.
Working collaboratively with the restaurant team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
Supporting the Head Chef in menu development, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You Were seeking a talented and motivated chef with:
Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef within a high-end or Michelin-standard restaurant .
A deep passion for fine food, craftsmanship, and seasonality.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and develop your team.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A genuine desire to uphold the highest culinary and operational standards.
