Your new role As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting engineering activities across design, process, production systems, and quality & continuous will be responsible for: Designing, proving, implementing and maintaining production systems to deliver products on time, to quality and cost requirements. Driving continuous improvement in quality, cycle times, process efficiency, and machine availability using lean and value engineering techniques Supporting product design for manufacture and assembly, as well as CAM/CAE activities Selecting and designing cutting tools, work holding tools and moulds Developing validation plans to ensure robust technical solutions Creating and maintaining project plans and budgets to meet agreed milestones Identifying and justifying capital equipment investments Analysing material usage and downtime, identifying trends and developing solutions Ensuring accuracy of procedures, documentation and systems data Producing reports, presentations, and conducting root cause analysis to resolve issues Identifying business improvement opportunities and conducting risk assessments What you'll need to succeed Ideally you will have: Relevant Manufacturing/Engineering degree (preferred) or HND or equivilent 2 years experience in a similar environment (engineering) Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes CAD Proficiency In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques What you'll get in return Amazing benefits with this role.
