Location
Bradford – the role will initially be based in Bradford but will move to Leeds Valley Park in summer 2026. Hybrid working is expected (2‑3 days in office per week, Bradford/Leeds).
Work type
Permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Where you fit in
As a Partnerships Officer you will:
* Provide engagement and technical support to key strategic partnerships and projects.
* Deliver partnership projects with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring collaborative core team working.
* Identify, develop and support external funding sources and additional partnership opportunities.
* Provide governance support, including data sharing agreements, KPI data management and steering group meeting support.
* Utilise the Partnership Opportunities Platform (POP) to support investment during AMP8, championing nature‑first solutions and wider benefits.
* Support community engagement for strategic partnerships and projects.
* Document partnership principles, best practice and strategies.
What skills & qualifications you will need
* Strong knowledge of water and wastewater networks and treatment processes
* Good understanding of rainwater management and flood resilience
* Proven experience working with stakeholders to achieve shared goals
* Ability to build, develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels
* Confident communication and engagement skills, both written and verbal
* Self‑motivated, resilient and proactive approach to work
* Experience analysing, interpreting and presenting data clearly and meaningfully
* Strong commitment to health and safety, identifying risks and proposing solutions
* Degree in a relevant discipline and/ or previous relevant experience
* Experience in a regulated environment
* Experience in cost‑benefit analysis and funding applications and proposals
* Progress funding for priority work through different funding routes
* Sound understanding of hydraulic design and modelling
* Experience in Blue/Green solutions and SuDS principles
* Strong influencing and communication skills, with proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships
