An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supply Chain Lead to join a major Defence programme supporting critical UK naval systems.
This role offers the chance to play a key part in delivering strategic procurement and supply chain solutions within a complex project environment, ensuring operational effectiveness and supplier performance across high-profile programmes.
* Lead procurement and subcontract negotiation activities
* Manage supplier relationships and performance
* Support demand forecasting, sourcing and inventory control
* Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
* Drive supply chain efficiency and best-value delivery
* Support complex Defence and construction-related projects
* Experience within supply chain/procurement functions
* NEC3 or NEC4 contract experience within construction
* Strong subcontract negotiation and supplier management skills
* Construction procurement experience
* Ability to build strong stakeholder and supplier relationships
* Defence or engineering sector experience beneficial
