Job Description
We’re looking for a Commercial Manager for our Defence client based in Salisbury on an initial 12-month contract paying up to £660 per day inside IR35.
This role allows hybrid working, with an expectation to attend the office 2-3 days per week.
You must be able to obtain Security Clearance (SC), current clearance is not required, but you must be eligible and able to pass the process.The successful Commercial Manager will possess proven skills working with the following:
1. NEC3 / NEC4 Contracting and end-to-end procurement experience
2. Strong understanding of Public Procurement Directives / Procurement Law
3. Experience drafting and delivering commercial strategies
4. Background in delivering significant design and construction programmes
5. Knowledge of Public Contract Regulations (PCR) and Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations (DSPCR)
6. Familiarity with the Procurement Act 2023
7. Engineering Construction Contracts (ECC) and Professional Service Contracts (PSC)
8. Strong stakeholder engagement and supplier communication skills
9. Ability to drive delivery against time, cost and quality expectations
10. Defence experience
Desirable:
11. MCIPS or equivalent qualification
12. NEC4 accreditation (ECC and PSC)
