Are you a subject matter expert in cellular radio planning with strong analytical skills and experience in the UK telecoms market? MBNL is seeking a Radio Planning Engineer to support our network infrastructure transformation and NTQ programme. Responsibilities of the Radio Planning Engineer
* Select and configure radio equipment and sites for deployment
* Consolidate planning requirements from multiple stakeholders into one cohesive delivery model
* Review and optimise network performance alongside Shareholder strategy teams
* Ensure accurate drawings, inventory, and submissions across planning tools
* Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve design, acquisition, and performance challenges
* Ensure compliance with design standards (CS and VMO2) and client expectations
The successful Radio Planning Engineer will have:
* Proven stakeholder management, negotiation and problem-solving skills
* Strong understanding of Excel; knowledge of databases and planning tools a plus
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Network Operator or Managed Services environment
* Ability to adapt to evolving design needs within acquisition and implementation
