Through continued and record breaking growth, we are investing further into new product development and therefore looking to recruit a DESIGN ENGINEERING MANAGER (Product Development) to join our award winning Product Team.
Responsible for products such as Pushchairs, Highchairs and Nursery Equipment we are a close knit team of talented engineers and designers, we are looking for new talent leader to move the dial, so we can expand our product portfolio and refine our existing products.
Reporting directly to the Product Director key elements of this role will include.
• Technical Leadership, Review & Validation - Steering the engineering process from design to production including factory visits
• Team Management & development - Leading, developing and mentoring a team of inhouse design & mechanical engineers
• Project & Process Oversight - manage project timelines & resource allocation
• Strategic Input – participate in roadmap planning & define technical strategy
• Communication & Stakeholder Management – communicate design status, risks & mitigation plans to leadership
-Focus on mechanical engineering, moving parts.
