Head of Tax - £80,000 - £120,000 (depending on experience) + benefits
South Hertfordshire – HQ of growing international group - Full-time / Hybrid

Our client is an established and highly credible group based in South Hertfordshire, with a strong foothold in their sector and an expanding overseas business. They are seeking a Corporate/Group Tax Manager to fulfil this newly created role and to be the UK-based lead on all group-wide tax matters.
In this role you’ll get:

* Variety & complexity - from group CT, corporate reporting, VAT, cross-border issues, to liaising with external advisors.

* Balance of hands-on and strategic work - ideal if you like to stay technically sharp, but also want to advise the board, influence decisions and shape the tax function.

What we’re looking for:
* CTA qualified (or ACA/ACCA + strong tax background), ideally with UK corporate tax + international exposure, or equivalent hands-on experience
* 4–8 years (or more) of tax experience, ideally including experience of group structures, CT600s, VAT and liaison with external advisors
* Someone pragmatic - ready to roll up their sleeves, work within a growing business, and take ownership
* Strong stakeholder skills - comfortable working with FD / senior finance team and external advisors
