We’re looking for a Senior Pension Administrator to join our team and play a key role in supporting our members, intermediaries and trustees with empathy, accuracy and professionalism.This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your technical expertise and customer focus will make a real difference.What you'll be doing:
1. Providing efficient claims services to scheme members, intermediaries and trustees
2. Applying Defined Benefit scheme knowledge to check and authorise quotations and claims
3. Responding to enquiries and complaints with empathy and professionalism
4. Delivering on-the-job training and sharing technical advice with team members
5. Acting as a technical expert and staying up to date with pensions legislation
6. Maintaining scheme records and investigating anomalies
7. Following standard operating procedures and ensuring full audit trails
8. Communicating key updates to internal teams and third parties
QualificationsWho we're looking for:
9. Pension qualification such as CII or PMI, or equivalent experience
10. Strong understanding of Defined Benefit pension schemes and related legislation
11. Ability to carry out manual calculations and interpret scheme provisions
12. Excellent communication and customer service skills
13. Experience managing priorities and working to tight timescales
14. Commitment to compliance, accuracy and customer outcomes
15. Willingness to take ownership and contribute to team performance
16. A collaborative mindset and ability to support others’ development
