We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Person / Warehouse Operative / Warehouse Associate to assist with the daily operations of the warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving shipments, organizing stock, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries.
* Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
* Label, sort, and store inventory in designated locations.
* Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if licensed).
* Maintain accurate inventory records.
* Prepare goods for shipment and dispatch.
* Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
* Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
* Report damaged goods or shortages to supervisors.
Requirements
* Previous warehouse experience preferred but not always required.
* Ability to lift and move heavy items.
* Good attention to detail and accuracy.
* Basic numeracy and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Forklift license (desirable for some roles).
* Flexible and dependable work ethic.
Working Conditions
* Standing and walking for long periods.
