Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with the ambition and capability to manage and develop an integrated management system aligned with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and RISQS requirements.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to lead quality and compliance initiatives that directly support customer satisfaction and operational excellence on a one-year fixed-term contract.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
· CQP CQI / IOSH / PIEMA/Nebosh preferred.
· Internal auditor / lead auditor qualified for ISO 9001, 14001, or 45001
· Experience in design, implementation & management of integrated management systems
· Experience of rail industry advantageous
· Experience in an engineering / construction environment advantageous
· Experience working on major infrastructure projects advantageous.
· Experience with using quality tools & techniques.
Key Competencies and Responsibilities
Integrated Management System
· Management of the integrated HSQE management system
· Implementation and management of efficient procedures
· Maintaining and improving policies
· Ensure compliance with procedures, legislation, regulatory requirements and standards
· Managing external audits and securing ongoing accreditations.
· Analysing HSQE data and carry out annual management review.
· HSQE lead for period reporting
· Identifying and actioning opportunities for improvement
· Providing HSQE support to technical delivery teams
· Analysing project review data providing reports on lessons learnt
· Carry out audits as identified and provide written reports on the findings.
· Raising and closing out non conformances
· Evaluation of the suitability and competency of subcontractors and maintaining an approved supplier register.
· Ensuring that all sub-contractors comply with the contractual quality requirements.
· Carrying out Risk Assessments & ensuring Emergency Preparedness
· Incident reports, investigation and records
· Upkeep and improvement of HSE Dashboard and QA Conformance Tracker
· Reporting compliance

Project Controls[SG1]
· Provide insight and knowledge to project managers in all areas of project controls, including budget, cost, risk and change management where applicable.
· Provide necessary administrative support within the team, including completion of HQSE sections of tender submissions.
· Manage the provision of HSEQ information via client and project-specific platforms.
· Ensuring that all project reviews are completed and that forensic lessons learnt is prepared on a regular basis, including recommendations for continual improvement[SG2] .
Leadership
· Establishing a right-first-time culture across the teams, and that will put HSQE at the heart of the business operations and project delivery.
· Committed to delivering HSQE on infrastructure projects to the required standards.
· Developing and delivering regular Toolbox Talks and staff briefings on relevant HSQE topics
· Deliver strong stakeholder engagement internally.
· Able to manage teams and deliver technical leadership across the entire organisation[SG3] [FP4] .
· Prepare quarterly internal HSQE reports and communicate findings and lessons learned.
· Prepare HSQE board reports ahead of board meetings.
