* Duke of Lancaster Academy - Fakenham
* 27.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year - Permanent
* 4 days a week (flexible) 08:30 - 16:00 but must include a Friday, 08:30 - 15:30
* Salary: £27,255 - £29,541per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience)
* Actual Salary: £17,194 - £18,363 per annum

We are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team and support children with moderate learning difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and some Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a key role in helping to create a calm, consistent, and supportive learning environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to deliver lessons, lead small group and one-to-one support, and contribute to a positive school experience for all pupils. Building strong, respectful relationships with students, families, and colleagues will be central to the role.

Experience with Trauma-Informed Schools (TIS) approaches would be valuable, as would an understanding of how to promote independence and emotional wellbeing in young people. This role would suit someone who is patient, reflective, and committed to inclusive practice.
